In the face of all the challenges of the past year, here at Firth & Scott we believe it’s more important than ever to celebrate good news when it comes along.

Our colleague Shaneece Deep has given us not one, but two occasions already this year to share in her professional success. Since joining the company in January 2020, Shaneece has been working hard towards her insurance qualifications and after passing her final exam in April, now holds the ‘Certificate In Insurance’ accreditation, awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Shaneece has already enrolled on to the next stage of her studies and will work towards her Diploma in Insurance, which includes studying Insurance Law and Business & Finance.

It is partly due to her exam success at such an early stage in her career that Shaneece was awarded the Nottingham Insurance Institute’s 2021 ‘High Achiever’ award last month. Shaneece was nominated by her colleague. Annie Playfair, due to her relentless positivity and dedication to learning throughout the challenges of the past year; this resonated with the CII, with Nottingham president Helen Wilcox deeming her a ‘well deserved winner’.

Here at Firth & Scott we’re all incredibly proud of Shaneece and her achievements and wish her every success in the next stage of her studies, along with fellow colleague Jamie-Leigh Birtley who is about to embark upon her Certificate.
